The seats were fine although this is a small compact theatre - very beautiful and one i would go again too but the stalls have not much space for legroom - you do fit and I am man of greater proportions so when seated all is good but rows do have to fill from the middle or or the row has to empty to let the last people in ( as we were - sorry!)
This is an old theatre and it should not change it is very beautiful.

Our view of the stage was very good despite being relatively far back in the stalls but the seats were seriously uncomfortable and two of us have stiff backs today. I think this would have been true of any seats in the house. I hope part of the theatre refurbishment will be replacing the seats.

Not much leg room but a good view of the stage.
