Two seats were a bit too far to side of stage. Leg room poor , had experienced much better. Difficult when others tried to pass. liked the drinks to seat service!

The D.of York's is typical of the old attractive but now far from ideal London theatres. My wife and I have walking difficulties and the number of steps to get up and down to the stalls provided quite a challenge. It seemed almost impossible to avoid long staircases. One longed for a lift. Once seated it was OK though again more rake in the auditorium would have made viewing easier. One man next to us was desperate to move seats since his view was obstructed by a tall man in front. Leg room better than some (I'm 6'1''). Lovely old buildings but lots in favour of the modern..
