The seats are really old. No one fit in them normally because they were so small. They creaked if you shifted your weight at all, which everyone was doing throughout the play. If you stand up, the seat bottom shoots up and makes a very loud smacking sound. Some women left the play within the first 10 minutes and every single one of their seats -- 5 in all -- made a loud smack as they got up. It was mortifying.
