We were on the first row of the balcony but our view of the stage was restricted by the railing between us and the actors. Legroom was minimal and so was the show.

The legroom was a bit limited for the men in our party who had long legs. The edge of the balcony was very close and was so low it was disconcerting walking to our seats. My husband felt so uncomfortable even when sitting in his seat that he didn't feel he could stay and left the theatre. At least two other people who had these front seats had to move further back and they felt very uncomfortable throughout the performance. I would definitely not book seats in this balcony again which was a shame as the theatre itself was lovely with a lot of character and the show was amazing. During the show the metal bar across the balcony wall cut into your view whatever height you were - the tall people could see the back of the stage easily but not the front and the other way for us shorter ones! We all came away with stiff necks from having to either to look over the top of the bar of looking underneath it.
