We were very lucky and had our seats upgraded to the front row of the Grand Circle as it was a matinee performance. However, the view was slightly restricted by the safety rail in front making you sit upright and forward. The view of the stage was very good. From the opening to the end it was brilliantly staged and a must see. Some of the staging of the scenes was fantastic and really drew you into the story. The music and singing were incredible both supported by a rich sounding orchestra. The venue (Her Majesties Theatre) under normal circumstances you would say requires an upgrade. However, the dated nature of the theatre gave the whole production a unique character. The staff were very good with great cosy bars for the interval.
