We were in the Grand Circle centre section near the end, I intentionally chose this as it can get awkward to keep asking other theatre goers to let you get past. I am of average height at around 5'4 and my knees did touch the seat in front, however overall it wasn't uncomfortable. You could quite easily see the whole stage unobstructed.
