Dress Circle
Divided into two blocks of seating by one central aisle the Dress Circle of the Palace Theatre is a comfortable and intimate section of the venue. Despite being a level above the Stalls, this part of the theatre does not feel too high or distant from the stage and audience members can still enjoy the facial expressions of the actors and small nuances.
Due to the shape of the Dress Circle, seats at the ends of rows A-C offer a restricted view of the stage and are usually at a discounted price. The best seats in this part of the house are seats 11-26 in rows B-C and 12-24 in row D, these are listed as premium seats and offer a great panoramic view of the stage.
The Grand Circle overhang beginning at row C cuts the view of the top of the stage significantly for those in row H and back. Unfortunately legroom does feel restricted in this section of the Palace Theatre and taller audience members will most likely be very uncomfortable anywhere but in an aisle seat.
The Dress Circle does not have a safety rail which means that those in the first few rows can enjoy unobstructed views throughout the performance. The worst views are in row J as they are very restricted and it is best to avoid purchasing tickets in this row.
The Dress Circle is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable to those with reduced mobility.
