First row (no heads in front of you), extra legroom and great view of the entire stage. For the price, it was truly amazing.
If I had to point out something negative, the stage is a bit far (it's a big theatre) and you're looking down, but other than that it was great. The entire stage is perfectly visible and the bar in front of us didn't bother us at all (and we're not tall people). However, if you're shorter than 160cm, the bar might actually cover the front of the stage.

As we were front row of the grand circle, the view of the stage was uninhibited other than the balcony wall coming right up to the front of the stage. This obviously still allows you to see everything absolutely fine but being able to see some of the pit and other parts of the theatre surrounding the stage will give a slightly better atmosphere as a spectator.
If I were to go again to this theatre I think I would be tempted to try and get one of the seats in the Royal Circle off to one side or the other, the seats are in bunches of four or six and are distributed quite near and slightly above the stage. I imagine these give the best view in the house .
I’ve booked the front row as I cannot abide sitting behind people and looking around their heads at the show I have paid good money to see.
