The view of the stage was generally good but we were unable to see any action in the upstairs area (which might have been extensive)

These seats gave a very good view of the stage only the floor at the back of the stage wasn't visible but this wasn't a problem as I don't feel like we missed seeing anything. I would definitely book these seats again and as row A was missing we only had one row in front.

The stage was quite tall, so choose a seat in row f or above, to avoid a nech ache.

Too close to the stage which is much higher than seat level therefore we couldn't see anything below the waist on the stage. We moved to the circles, row D and E.... no more comfortable but much much better view

If you have little ones don't sit too close, only because they can't see the back of the stage.

Perhaps a little higher to watch foot movement would have added to the experience.
