Although I was aware that I would need to lean forward in those seats, I did not expect to be looking down at the stage and effectively onto the tops of people's heads, and a lot of the time the actors had their backs to me. Neither did I expect further restriction from lighting bolted to the barrier further restricting the view. I could barely see the left hand side of the stage. Terrible seats, no idea why this theatre has been built like this. When we asked at the interval if we could move to seats that would be better, despite them being vacant we were told very rudely that we would have to pay extra even though those seats had not been sold or occupied. Customer service - nil. Will never visit this theatre again.
