Figaro: An Original Musical description
Are you ready for the world premiere of a long-awaited new musical? Welcome to Figaro: An Original Musical, a thrilling new show from the Tony and Grammy award winning producers Ashley Jana and Will Nunziata, first conceived in 2023.
Two fully-staged concert performances take place at the London Palladium in early February 2025.
The plot of Figaro: An Original Musical
The plot is set in 19th century Italy, billed as hauntingly beautiful. Sienna works on her dad's farm, but she feels trapped and really wants to sing for a career. One day she comes across two orphaned children and finds herself thrown into a new life as a travelling performer. She meets handsome Figaro, who promises to make every single dream come true, but as she finds out, there's always a price to pay for fame.
The show is conceived by Ashley Jana and Will Nunziata, who also created the Book, Music and Lyrics. Produced by Michael Lamon, 23 Productions LLC, Van Dean, Andrew Byrnes and Witzend Productions, the General Manager is Carter Dixon McGill Productions.
The musical's cast and creative team
The musical stars West End favourites Job Robyns (The Phantom of the Opera) as Figaro and Aimie Atkinson (Six, Pretty Woman) as Lucia, with American actor Cayleigh Capaldi (Titanique, Frozen) as Sienna.
