Inter Alia description

How do you reconcile being a professional woman, mother, friend, wife and feminist? This new play from Australian playwright, screenwriter and lawyer Suzie Miller (Prima Facie) deftly explores the tensions so many women still face in the 21st century.

Inter Alia is a brand new play by Australian Suzie Miller, premiering at the National Theatre’s Lyttleton venue.

The acting talent and the creatives

Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) takes the leading role, a respected and prolific Emmy, Golden Globe and Academy Award nominee. Justin Martin directs, the same director who collaborated on Miller’s smash hit Prima Facie, which starred Jodie Comer, won two Olivier awards and also proved hugely popular in her home country.

Suzie Miller has written more than forty plays including Reasonable Doubt, which wowed audiences at its Edinburgh fringe debut. Rosamund Pike has numerous stage hits behind her including Hitchcock Blonde, Summer and Smoke, Gas Light, Madame de Sade and Hedda Gabler , winning numerous awards including a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe plus Academy Award and BAFTA nominations.

Director Justin Martin is an award winning director with hits on TV, stage and the big screen. He co-directed the amazing Stranger Things: The First Shadow with Stephen Daldry at the Phoenix Theatre in London. The set and costume design for Inter Alia is by Miriam Buether, lighting design from Natasha Chivers, and sound design by Ben and Max Ringham.
