A young Bavarian man is keen to begin an exciting new life in the USA. His two brothers join him. The new bank they set up is a huge success and gathers a dazzling international reputation. But all is not well. There’s rot at the core of the institution and 163 years later the edifice collapses into chaos. The Lehman Brothers bank ends in a world-class drama, and their unprecedented bankruptcy leads to a global financial crisis.
