A gorgeous children’s story by Julia Donaldson

The Smartest Giant in Town tells another sweet story from Julia Donaldson, whose best-selling children’s picture books also include The Singing Mermaid and The Everywhere Bear. This new musical adaptation by Little Angel Theatre comes from the people who gave us Room on the Broom, and who have also adapted other popular books by the same author-illustrator team for the stage.

This is happy, colourful and heart-warming tale is told by puppets and set to new music by the award-winning musician Barb Jungr. The story is adapted and directed by Little Angel’s artistic director Samantha Lane with set and costume design by Kate Bunce, puppets design by Judith Hope, and lighting design by Sherry Coenen.
