Titanique description

The smash hit Off-Broadway jukebox musical Titanique is due in the capital, predicted to become a glittering star in the West End sky. This is the UK premiere of a multi-award winning show described as hilarious, hysterical, and wonderfully camp. Not to be missed!

The show’s Producers Michael Harrison and Eva Price are staging Titaníque The Musical in London during late 2024, a hugely popular parody based on the 11 Oscar winning 1997 film starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio. The fun is set to the music of Canadian gay icon and songbird Celine Dion.

Once one of the most romantic love stories ever – Now a hilarious slay-fest

Delighting audiences since 2017, this production delivers ‘unhinged delight’, a beautiful celebration transforming one of the loveliest romances of all time into a hilarious slay-fest full of colour, fun and joy.

The fun kicks off when Céline Dion hijacks a Titanic Museum tour, going on to thrill the people on the tour by recreating the course of the movie’s best-loved moments and characters with her iconic tunes. You’ll adore the powerhouse voices, show-stopping songs, references to pop culture and sly punches at the 1990s film. The end result is a unique musical voyage, rich in nostalgia with a big, bold heart.

Expect a feast of Dion classics including A New Day Has Come, All By Myself, Beauty and the Beast, I’m Alive, My Heart Will Go On and many, many more, along with one tune you really won’t expect – so we won’t spoil the surprise!

The team behind the magic

The fun has been co-written by Tye Blue (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli. It enjoyed its Off-Broadway premiere in 2022 at Asylum Theater, with the co-authors Mindelle and Rousouli playing Celine Dion and Jack Dawson. It kept on selling out, kept on extending, and eventually landed at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

Seven major awards during the 2022/23 theatre season included three Lucille Lortel Awards, the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical, Las Culturistas’ Culture Award for Best Indoor Performance and two Dorian Awards. In 2024 Marla Mindelle won an Obie for Distinguished Performance.
