Stalls
Divided into a front and back section and split by a horizontal Isle, the Stalls of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane consist of 27 rows.
Unfortunately most of the seats in this section of the theatre do not offer much legroom and it would be advised for taller audience members to purchase tickets in row K as it is separated from row J by a spacious aisle.
Due to the fact that the stage is not very high, row AA also offers plenty of legroom and a fantastic front view onto the stage, however do bear in mind that if you are in the first couple of rows you are most likely to have the conductor in front of you, which may be distracting at times.
The stage at Theatre Royal Drury Lane is very big, hence the best seats are those a little further back, which can allow patrons to enjoy the whole view.
The front section of the Stalls is not raked, which can cause problems for children and audience members who are not very tall, especially when seated in front of someone taller. The rows are slightly curved in the Stalls, which causes most of the seats at the end to have a restricted view.
The best seats in terms of view in this part of the venue are in the middle of rows D-M. The overhang from the Royal Circle begins at row L and mostly affects those in Row U. The Stalls section of the theatre is wheelchair accessible and most suited to those with limited mobility.
