Royal Circle
The Royal Circle is divided into three parts by two aisles and provides great views onto the stage and despite being slightly higher does not feel removed from the action on the stage.
This section of the theatre is most likely the best choice if you are planning on attending with children since the seats are raked, unlike in the Stalls where the lack of rake can often hinder the experience of smaller patrons.
There are no safety rails in the Royal Circle so there is no danger of buying seats with an obstructed view. The Grand Circle overhang can cause a slightly restricted view to those at the very rear of this part of the venue, so seats in the rows at the back should be avoided by those who wish to have the best view possible.
The best seats in the Royal Circle are in the middle of rows A-D as they still offer a close and clear view onto the stage. Legroom is slightly better in this part of the theatre, especially in row A and in the last four rows, which have plenty of space around them.
Unfortunately the Royal Circle is only accessible via 39 steps from the foyer of the theatre, hence patrons with reduced mobility or wheelchair users should purchase tickets in the Stalls.
