Stalls
The Stalls at the Playhouse Theatre is a large block of seating that is not divided by any aisles. This section of the venue offers plenty of good views throughout and the seats are well raked ensuring that all audience members can enjoy good views that are unobstructed by those in front of them.
The best seats are seats 6-15 in row E as they have the best views of the stage across the whole theatre. The Dress Circle overhang begins at row M but it does not affect those who are sat under it. Generally it is advised to sit as centrally as possible in order to enjoy good views of the stage.
Due to the shape of the Stalls, the end on seats do not face the stage head on, so some action can be missed. Whilst this section of the venue offers some great views, the seats do feel quite narrow and uncomfortable and legroom will feel restricted for taller audience members who are advised to purchase a ticket for an aisle seat.
Due to the height of the stage it is recommended to avoid the first three rows, especially if you are not very tall. Those who are sat in the first couple of rows might find themselves craning their necks which can cause discomfort and pain.
The Stalls section of the Playhouse Theatre is wheelchair accessible and suitable to those audience members who have reduced mobility issues.
