Royal Circle
The Royal Circle is one level above the Stalls, split into two blocks by an aisle it offers really good views onto the stage.
This part of the auditorium is well raked so audience members need not worry about those in front of them obstructing their view. The best seats are in the centre of rows B-F as they offer clear and panoramic views of the whole stage, ensuring that no action is missed.
Legroom feels more restricted in this part of the theatre when compared to the Stalls, and taller audience members should avoid row A as it feels quite cramped.
Seats at the ends of Row H and J offer extra legroom due to having no seats in front of them.
The bar across the front of the Royal Circle might affect the view for shorter audience members in row A.
The Grand Circle overhang begins at row C and has an impact on those in row H and back. Row N is particularly bad as the overhang obstructs a large part of the view and it is hard to make out any detail as it feels very distant from the stage; this is why tickets in this row are discounted.
The Royal Circle at The Shaftesbury Theatre is wheelchair accessible as there are wheelchair spaces in Box B and Box F. This part of the theatre is also well suited to those with reduced mobility and children.
